PSA HNN, more than just an employer
PSA HNN is a company with long-standing HR antecedents.
We implement a competitive remuneration policy, with equitable wages. Next to this, our employees also receive meal vouchers and are covered by group insurance and hospitalization insurance policies.
Every year, we organize an evaluation of our employees and executives, whereby performance is linked to a bonus.
We are aware of the fact that the work-life balance is important for every one of us. We try to do our bit with various initiatives such as:
- childcare for sick children
- ironing service (in two locations)
- flexible start and end times (not in operational departments).
We also pay more than average attention to training. Every year we organize approximately 8,500 days of training, including technical and general skills and management training courses, of the traditional class-room variety as well as using alternative methods.
We have terminals at various locations in the port of Antwerp. Our aim is to deploy employees in the terminal that is closest to their home.
Our terminals use a shift work system. That is not always obvious for everybody. It comes with an added benefit, however, in that you have free time during office hours. Day-care, a visit to the post office or the bank… it all becomes a lot easier for many of our employees.
